This week we welcome a very special guest to the show. Virginia Tech Head Coach Brent Pry sits down with us to talk everything from Spring Practice, off-season staff adjustments, the current recruiting landscape, and lessons learned from the the 2022 campaign.
Virginia Tech Head Coach
Brent Pry is the Head Coach for the Virginia Tech Hokies. A University of Buffalo football alunmnus, he first came to Virginia Tech as a graduate assistant for Virginia Tech from 1995-1997. After a four year stint at Western Carolina where he coached defensive line, defensive backs, and special teams, he was hired by former Virginia Tech offensive coordinator and newly hired Head Coach at Louisiana-Lafayette Ricky Bustle as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the Ragin' Cajuns. He followed this up with a three year stint as the defensive line coach at Memphis. He was defensive coordinator at Georgia Southern in 2010, with their defense leading a run to the NCAA FCS semifinals. In 2011 He was hired by James Vanderbilt as associate head coach, defensive coordinator, and linebackers coach, roles he continued in when he followed Franklin to Penn State in 2014.
